2T butter
1/2 c brown sugar
pineapple slices
marchino cherries
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t salt
1/3 c shortening
1/2 c minus 1T pineapple juice
1/2 t. grated lemon peel
1 egg
Melt Butter in 8x8x2 inch pan. Stir in brown sugar. Halve pineapple slices. place in miture; center with cherry pieces. Stir dry ingredients together over softened shortening. add remaining ingredients and mix for 2 minutes. pour over pineapple. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes then turn upside down .
